If you are searching for the price of Tally software in the UAE, you most likely fall into one of three groups: a small business owner buying your first proper accounting tool, a finance manager renewing an existing Tally subscription, or a growing SME starting to wonder whether Tally is still the right fit for where the business is heading.
This guide is written for all three. We give you the actual current Tally software prices in the UAE — Silver, Gold, renewals, cloud, and what they include — based on what authorised Tally partners across Dubai and the GCC are publicly quoting in 2026. Then we give you something most pricing pages will not: an honest section on when a UAE business has outgrown Tally and what comes next.
A note on perspective: this guide is published by ERPLax, a modular cloud ERP and CRM platform built for UAE SMEs and mid-market businesses. We are not a Tally reseller — we are an alternative platform that many businesses move to once they have outgrown Tally. The pricing data below is sourced from authorised UAE Tally partners. Use this guide for what it is: a fair view of where Tally fits and where its limits start.

Price: AED 2,340 + VAT (one-time license fee, lifetime use)
TallyPrime Silver is a single-user license — meaning the software runs on one computer, used by one user at a time. It is the standard starting point for small UAE businesses, freelancers, single-shop retailers, and home-office accounting. Despite the “single-user” label, you can manage multiple companies and any number of business entities on a single Silver license.
Price: AED 7,020 + VAT (one-time license fee, lifetime use)
TallyPrime Gold is a multi-user license that allows simultaneous access from multiple computers over a Local Area Network. It is the standard choice for UAE SMEs with two or more accountants, multi-counter retail outlets, or office teams sharing accounting workflows. Tally itself notes that Gold is practically usable up to about ten concurrent users — beyond that, performance starts to degrade.
Both Silver and Gold licenses include one year of TSS for free. After that first year, TSS becomes a separate annual renewal that you need if you want updates, VAT compliance changes, e-invoicing readiness, remote access, banking integrations, and official support.
You can technically continue using Tally without renewing TSS, but you lose access to updates and FTA compliance changes — which in the UAE, with VAT and corporate tax rules evolving, is a meaningful risk. Most UAE businesses renew TSS annually.
For businesses that want to run Tally from anywhere — multiple branches, remote staff, owners working from home — Tally on Cloud is offered by authorised partners hosting Tally on UAE/GCC data centres. Pricing varies by partner but typically starts from around AED 60–100 per user per month, on top of the underlying Tally license cost.
To compare Tally meaningfully against any alternative, you have to look at three-year total cost — license + renewals + cloud + the operational overhead of running it. Here is a realistic illustration for two common UAE business profiles.

Before talking about limits, credit where it is due. Tally has been the default accounting software for small UAE businesses for over two decades — and there are real reasons for that.
For a sole trader, a single small shop, or a home-office consultancy, TallyPrime Silver is genuinely a sensible choice. The problems start later.
Tally is built for accounting. When your business outgrows pure accounting and starts needing operational visibility, sales pipeline tracking, multi-channel lead capture, integrated CRM, and real-time dashboards, Tally starts feeling tight. Here are the six most common signs we see when UAE businesses come to us looking to migrate.
Tally is fundamentally a desktop product. Cloud access exists, but it is essentially Tally running on a server you connect to remotely. Sales teams in the field, multi-branch operations, and owners checking dashboards on their phones all run into friction. Modern cloud-native ERPs handle this naturally.
Tally’s core is accounting. Sales activity — leads, quotations, follow-ups, conversion — happens elsewhere, often in Excel and WhatsApp. Someone on your team spends hours each week re-entering sales data into Tally and reconciling the two. That overhead is a clear signal you have outgrown an accounting-only tool.
In the UAE, WhatsApp is the dominant sales channel. Tally has a WhatsApp module for sending invoices and reminders, but it does not capture incoming WhatsApp leads, log sales conversations, or treat WhatsApp as a first-class CRM channel. If your salespeople live on WhatsApp, you need a CRM-integrated platform, not an accounting tool with a WhatsApp add-on.
Tally Gold supports multiple users on a LAN, but consolidated multi-branch and multi-entity operation — where a mainland LLC and a Free Zone entity share customer masters but keep separate books — is awkward in Tally. Modern modular ERPs handle this natively.
Tally produces solid month-end financial reports. What it does not produce naturally are real-time dashboards — live cash position, pipeline value, branch-wise margin, salesperson performance — that owners and managers want to glance at on a phone or iPad. If your management decisions are being held back by reporting lag, that is a structural Tally limitation.
Many UAE Tally users end up running Tally for accounts, a separate CRM (Zoho, HubSpot) for sales, a separate inventory tool, a separate POS, and a separate HR/payroll tool. The combined cost is often two or three times what an integrated modular ERP would cost — and the operational overhead of stitching them together is expensive in human time.
If two or more of these signs are true for your UAE business, the question is no longer “how much does Tally cost” — it is “what does the next step look like?”
When UAE businesses outgrow Tally, they typically move to one of three options: a global ERP (SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics — too heavy and expensive for most SMEs), a regional UAE ERP product (better fit, but often closed and pricey), or a modern modular cloud ERP. ERPLax sits in the third category.
ERPLax is a modular ERP and CRM platform built specifically for UAE SMEs and mid-market businesses. It is designed to take a Tally user from “my accounting works fine, but everything around it is broken” to “all my operations live in one platform.” Practically, that means:
For most UAE businesses moving from Tally, the migration is straightforward: chart of accounts, customer and supplier masters, item lists, and opening balances all transfer cleanly. We typically have a previous Tally user fully live on ERPLax within four to eight weeks — including parallel-run validation.
As of 2026, TallyPrime Silver (single-user) is priced at AED 2,340 + VAT and TallyPrime Gold (multi-user) is priced at AED 7,020 + VAT. Both include one year of Tally Software Services (TSS). After Year 1, TSS renewal is AED 468 + VAT per year for Silver and AED 1,404 + VAT per year for Gold.
TallyPrime Silver is a single-user license — the software runs on one computer used by one user at a time. TallyPrime Gold is a multi-user license that allows simultaneous access from multiple computers over a Local Area Network. Both editions have the same features; the only difference is the number of concurrent users.
The TallyPrime license fee (AED 2,340 for Silver, AED 7,020 for Gold) is a one-time, lifetime payment. The Tally Software Services (TSS) subscription, however, is annual. The first year of TSS is included in the license price, and you pay AED 468 (Silver) or AED 1,404 (Gold) per year thereafter to continue receiving updates and official support.
You can continue using Tally without renewing TSS, but you lose access to updates, new VAT and corporate tax features, e-invoicing readiness, remote access, banking integrations, and official support. In a UAE compliance environment that keeps evolving, most businesses renew TSS annually.
Tally is a strong fit for sole traders, single-shop operations, and small UAE businesses focused mainly on accounting. As businesses grow into multi-branch operations, multi-channel sales, integrated CRM, real-time dashboards, and operational reporting, Tally typically becomes too narrow and gets supplemented by additional tools. At that point, an integrated modular ERP like ERPLax is usually a cleaner total solution.
Migrating from Tally to ERPLax involves a one-time implementation project (data migration, configuration, training, and parallel run) plus the ERPLax platform subscription. For a typical UAE SME moving from TallyPrime Gold to ERPLax, the total Year 1 investment is usually competitive with — and often less than — the combined cost of running Tally plus three or four separate tools. We provide transparent quotes after a short discovery session.
If your UAE business is at the point where Tally is doing accounting well but everything else around it feels broken — sales in WhatsApp, leads in Excel, inventory in another tool, dashboards that take a day to compile — it is worth seeing what a unified platform feels like.
Our team will run a no-pressure working session focused on your specific situation. We map your current Tally setup, identify the workflows that are causing pain, and show you exactly how ERPLax would handle each one. You leave with a clear comparison of where Tally is still serving you and where you have outgrown it — even if the conclusion is that you should keep using Tally for now.
